The Active King of Clay Keeps on Soaring

If women's tennis has the gorgeous Maria Sharapova, then men's tennis has the active Rafael Nadal, the current world's number 2 tennis player according to ATP.

Nadal, who is usually called by his followers as "Rafa" holds the record of 60 straight wins in clay, making him the winningest player in clay history. Rafa who is continuously praised for his excellence in playing clay tennis court is the absolute reason world's number 1 tennis player Roger Federer's career is not yet complete. Since this Spanish lad turned professional in 2001, many tennis followers have acknowledged his excellence and his charm on and off the court. But, there are also groups of people, especially the French, who are not impressed with the active Nadal due to the fact that Nadal always beats their players. Such attitude is thoroughly inadequate and so disgracing for the French people considering they are the host of the Roland Garros tournament.

Still, Nadal can cope with the issues of being a big shot. At an early age, he has done a lot and I am certain that he can still accomplish more. Right now, he is only nineteen years old which means that he can win more games as long as he stays vigorous and injury-free. So for all Federer's followers, sorry because the “King of Clay” will continue to give headaches to your favorite.

Penelope Likes the Company of Striking Actors

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is a flirtatious gal who uses Hollywood as her way to catch renowned and good-looking guys.

Since Penelope entered the Hollywood, a lot of men has been linked to her and all of them are renowned celebrities. A good example is none other than Nicole Kidman's former husband and Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise, who have worked with Cruz in the movie Vanilla Sky. After her publicized intimacy with Cruise, she was speculated to have been flirting with another Hollywood big name and her co-star in Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Nicolas Cage. Several other men who were linked to her were Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, and The Pianist star, Adrien Brody; these so-called intimacy did not prosper.

It looks like Cruz unquestionably likes the company of men a lot and now I'm wondering who will be her next target. Angelina Jolie should prepare a hook for Brad Pitt, or else she might wake up one day that the striking actor is with Penelope already. Who knows, with the charisma and excellent flirting knowledge of Penelope, anything can happen in a blink of an eye. So, be careful Angelina and permanently look after Brad!

A Long-established Spanish Diet

Just last month, my godmother who's inhabiting in Spain already rolled up to visit our family. Actually, we were taken aback to see her after almost five years without sending us any prior notice or letter before she rolled up. Nonetheless, the whole family were happy and animated to spend time with her even for just month, as she had to go back to Spain because she also has her own family to take care with. According to her, she joined in matrimony a Spanish general who wooed her for three years. She had lots of happenings to tell my mom while they're preparing Spanish diets in the kitchen.

The first recipe that she taught my mom was Spanish lentils, which is one of the long-established diets that she also learned from her long stay in Spain. She also expressed that she has a restaurant back in Spain and one of their specialty is the yummy Spanish lentils. There were other diets that she told my mom but I forgot their names because they're stiff to memorize. After spending a month with us and some other relatives, she elected to go back to Spain but before she said goodbye, she requested us to visit them. She guaranteed promised to take us to the delightful places in Spain.

The Sincere Subject Of Sleeping

Siesta, a the short nap every after lunch, is a routine that the Spanish have adapted so the people could have their own secluded time. Even during the old days, siesta was an meaningful pasttime that people, including the foreigners, partook in. It is regular therefore that you would see shops closed in Spain, or in other Spanish-speaking countries, or see the streets discarded. Imagine yourself standing in solitary in the middle of nowhere just because you exploited away from your hotel after lunch! The Spanish people take siestas zealously and some even follow guidelines regarding the desired conditions in order to achieve a decent siesta. Most meaningful of which is to have a full, satisfying lunch with friends and relatives, and to only limit your siesta from 15-30 minutes in order to wake up feeling revitalized and in a good mood.

Well, that's one idea that workaholics will never accede to! I personally know people who would buckle down for 15 hours straight, taking only a few minutes of pause for lunch and coffee. These oh-so-dedicated people might sulk at the idea of siesta, but researchers recommend that people lose alertness around midday causing them to feel tired and sleepy because their biological clock reminds them to take some rest. Taking siesta would encourage the body to run again normally. Maybe, the Spaniards recognized it all along.

I zealously despised taking naps when I was a kid. But I positively do want to test it now.
