Instructing English in Multifarious Spanish Summer Camps

Sightseers can do varying things in Spain, from beach resort hopping to Spanish church exploring. But teaching is another incomparable and meaningful way to spend your summer expedition in this beautiful European region. If your English is good and you want some extra cash, you can join the varying summer camps everywhere in the country. Parents ordinarily send their kids to summer camps because they want to go abroad alone without the hassle of taking care of their children. This act is utterly selfish, but parents deserve a good breather, right?

Teaching the English language in summer camps is not utterly demanding because summer camps bestow free lodging and meals for two months. Aside from teaching, teachers can also enjoy doing multifarious pastimes with the kids like games and sports; that is, if the summer camp is complete with facilities.

Foreign teachers who have no working visas are also welcome to partake in the camps, but their profits are limited. Anyway, foreign teachers should not worry about the locals because they are quite amicable, especially to sightseers. So if you think your summer expedition is uninteresting and useless, make it more meaningful and profitable by teaching a universal language in Spanish summer camps.

Overly Thin Models Off Limits On The Catwalk

And we're back to the fashion business as just yesterday, female consumers mostly from the capital of Spain, Madrid, have manifested their disappointment over the country's Health Ministry for lack of control over fashion houses who are deliberately selling clothes for overly thin women! Come to think of it, only about 1% of the female populace all over Spain are overly thin and these stores' flaunting of clothes designed for "waifs" (I know it's harsh, but hey, they do really look like waifs.) are giving average-sized women a second look at themselves. I mean, there's nothing wrong with being overconfident, but thinking that someone can be beautiful only if she is overly thin is just not right. Aside from the psychological outcome of seeing these "waifs", it also has some detrimental emotional issues.

Fortunately though, Spain's Health Ministry is coming up with a plan in affiliation with the fashion industry to stipulate standards for women's sizes to be applied in all fashion houses. These has been a major move for Spain's fashion market as other countries are granted to take the same step. Moreover, another successful move they made was when overly thin models were not permitted on Spain's catwalk.

Staying in the Varying English Speaking Churches in Spain

Enthusiasts travel to Spain because of many reasons, which usually include the country's historical sites, outstanding major attractions, and fine beach resorts. But if you want your summer escapade to be incomparable and at the same time meaningful, then Spanish churches are the answers.

Though Spanish is the primary language in this country, there are still a few churches where you can hear masses in English; you are fortunate if you know where to find them. The most celebrated churches in the Spanish region that use English is the Catholic church Opus Dei sect, which was founded and made in the 20th century. Martin Lunn in Barcelona and Our Lady of Mercy and St. George’s Church in Madrid are other celebrated churches in this country where most travelers often go.

Aside from mass, the majestic architecture of Spanish churches is also a reason for travelers to visit Spain. Whether narrow or big, churches in this wonderful country boast of their delicate and innovative designs. Also, the quiet atmosphere in Spain provide people a place where they can reflect and rejuvenate.

Truly, staying in Spain will never be meaningful and complete without gaining a first-hand experience of this country's awesome churches.

Unearthing a Wonderful Night Life in Mexico

What could be more stimulating than pumping up the night with a frigid beer? During my one-week stay in Seville, I could not afford to miss the stimulating nightlife my fellows were all talking about. So, during one dreary night, I went with them and trooped to various "cervecerias."

When we elatedly entered El Tremendo, one of the most eminent bars in Seville, I knew right then the place's specialty--a tall glass of cold beer! It was perfect for the yummy dried fish or Mojama, nuts, and chips offered. According to my fellows, El Tremendo's frequenters are mostly students and young workers who want to spice up their nights after a busy day and that was just what I saw-- a bunch of young people gulping beer.

Then, the following night, we set off to Texas Lone Star Saloon, also primarily known as Tex-Mex Bar. Believe me, as the name suggests, this bar has an American setting with all the banners and relics from Texas. As we were happily having our beer, we even caught an awesome "NBA Game." A frequenter who observed our amazement, said that the pub commonly airs "NCAA Basketball Games," "Superbowl," and even "Friends." Now, that is surely fine! With all these night-life areas, I grasped that Mexicans are no boring people.

Celebrating A Special Day Through Flavorful Spanish Treats Along The Streets Of Valencia

The magnificent country of Spain is not only noted for its quaint old churches rich in history and culture, but also because of its delicious local delicacies. As a birthday treat, a pal of mine invited me for a relaxing lunch in one of the picturesque restaurants in Valencia. Our main course included "Rape al Limon," or fish in lemon sauce, which is a aromatic dish made of monkfish immersed in a zesty lemon sauce served with baked potatoes. The lemon sauce was impeccably done because it brings out the salty aroma of the monkfish without overpowering it. For the dessert, my companion ordered for a plate of the savory and warm "Tarta de Manzana," or apple tart, which is a pastry dish made with green apples soaked in lemon juice. The citrus essence of the dessert complements the main course, and the sweetness is just right, making it a noted dessert among locals and tourists. As for our drinks, we ordered for two foamy glasses of "Horchata de Chufas," a non-alcoholic drink made from flavorful tiger nuts, or "Chufas." The drinks were surely a fusion of tiger nuts, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon zest. Because of the wonderful views from the restaurant's balcony and the tasty Spanish recipes, it was definitely one of my best birthdays ever.
